Chedworth Roman Villa (NT) are the remains of one of the largest Romano-British villas in the country. The villa, which was built in phases from the 2nd until the 4th Century and was discovered in 1864, features several fine mosaics, two bathhouses, a water-shrine and latrine. The site museum also houses objects from the villa which have been discovered during the excavations.

Leading the way in archaeology and conservation, Chedworth is coming towards the end of an exciting five-year summer excavations programme. A modern conservation building provides exceptional access to the extensive mosaic floors, hypocaust systems and bathhouse rooms. And a small museum houses a range of finds and artefacts from the villa.
