no frills pub with probably the best view you'll find looking up the tyne at the bridges and the city from the beer garden. gets very busy on warm summer evenings

It has great beer and a fantastic view of the river and its bridges. It's on the Quayside bus route so you can get on at the Theatre Royal in Grey street and see the sights on the way.
