Wonderful location the most Westerly cafe, stuck out on Lizard point with seals and great Sunsets. Local cuisine, British, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options. The fresh fish is to die for.

England's most Southerly cafe with the most fantastic view of the coastline from their outdoor seating area high above the old lifeboat station at Polpeor Cove on Lizard Point. Great for breakfast or lunch with an impressive menu. Tip: Drive through Lizard village and towards the point, ignore all the signs for car parks and just keep going until you reach the small unmarked car park outside the cafe. It is a single track road, so drive carefully and the car park may well be full but it saves paying the high price to park by the lighthouse. Otherwise, park on the village green, put a few pounds in the honesty box and walk down to the point. For us, a visit to Cornwall is never complete without a visit to Polpeor.

Possibly the best sea view in the world... Park at the cafe or in hi-season at the Light House carpark.. Amazing walks around breath-taking views from hi cliffs, you can often see seals swiming in the cove. This is the most South West tip of the UK

Wonderful location perched on the cliff edge. Many of the tables are outside on a terrace looking out over the water. Menu is a range of straightforward dishes made from local produce including fresh fish, some caught in the waters below the restaurant by the village's 'day boats'. The signature dish is the fish medley of simply cooked fillets of four or five different fish. Book ahead in summer (and worth requesting an outside table to experience the wonderful view). The kitchen is often only open until about 7pm, even in summer, but an early dinner on the terrace is a great experience. The restaurant is run by the Hendy family who used to farm the fields in front of our cottage. It is a pleasant ten minute walk from our cottage via Pistil Meadow and the coast path.

England’s most southerly cafe, Polpeor Café sits in a truly unique position atop the cliffs, surrounded by breath-taking views. Serving delicious, home-made meals using locally sourced goods, the food here will leave you thoroughly satisfied and ready to come back for more. From thick sandwiches full of fresh, handpicked crab meat to the homemade fish pie to the irresistible cream teas, you can take your pick from a range of delectable dishes. With good accessibility, there are a number of car parks you can leave your car in nearby. Or if you fancy stretching your legs you can also walk to the cafe from the Lizard village, which will take you about 15 minutes along a gravel track. If you have a dog, feel free to bring your four-legged friend along too for an unforgettable feast.
