We love this place. It has favourites such as pasta and risotto dishes, mussels, fishcakes, Asian curries and simple grilled fish are served alongside a selection of ‘mini Kai’, i.e. small plates such as salt & pepper squid, beef carpaccio, oysters, piri piri prawns and potted crab.

Trengilly is set in woodland off the beaten track. It serves great tasting, locally sourced food to an excellent standard. If you wish to join us for food, we ask that you contact us to reserve a table in the pub, or outside in the marquee.

Our curries are prepared from scratch in our own kitchen using recipes that have been perfected over many years. They are available hot and ready to eat, or with prior notice, freshly chilled.

We live to go to the Ferry Boat Inn when we are over at the Helford. It enjoys one of Cornwall's most idyllic locations with beautiful views across the timeless Helford Passage. The pub sits in a beautiful unspoilt cove with direct access to the beach and water and is surrounded by wonderful local walks along the South Coast including the nearby Trebah Garden.
The Inn dates back 300 years and is situated in the North Helford Passage on the waterfront. Surrounded by wooded banks and sloping fields, this is one of Cornwall's most breathtaking locations. The inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier's novel can be found at Frenchman's Creek nearby. The pub's terrace overlooks some of the best views in the South-West, and offers plenty of beach-side seating for long sunny days and warm evenings.
