Originating in 1824, Crowley Cheese is the oldest continuously produced brand of artisanal cheese in the United States. Visitors are welcome 7 days/week and, on certain days (usually Tues-Thurs), can watch them make cheese. They offer free samples of Crowley Cheese as well as other fine Vermont-made food products and gifts.

The Crowley Cheese Factory is a historic factory at 14 Crowley Lane in Healdville, Vermont. It is the home of the Crowley Cheese Company, which is believed to be the oldest indigenous manufacturer of cheese in the United States. The factory was built in 1881, and still makes chees using its original methods and recipes.
