A restaurant and wine bar, this place is on the "touristic" side, but still worth a visit. Next to the beautiful wooden interior the restaurant offers an adventurous challenge: If you can climb over the wooden beam in the lower room, and if you can drink a glass of wine hanging from the beam head over, you can write your name on the wooden wall! (Some also say that you get wine for the whole night, but that is not confirmed). Its more difficult that you might think! We saw people failing a lot.

Very swiss restaurant with good wine-menu. Cant get much more authentic. Sometimes too authentic.

Oldest bar in the city with plenty of old wood-panely charm. Very unique inside (upstairs is the place to go). If you're up for it, you can try their climbing/drinking challenge :-)

Zurichs most preserved tavern! The "Öpfelchammer", endearingly called "Oeli", is the Number One meeting place for everybody. The “Oeli” also has its own “laws”.

Dies ist die berühmteste und älteste Weinstube in Zürich. Unbedingt vorbeischauen. Ausserdem wohne ich hier auch, und kann bei Problemen oder Fragen direkt angetroffen werden.
