An amazing place to relax and unwind. Just spend time walking the beaches, swimming in the ocean and relaxing in the evening watching the sunsets.
There are very few vehicles on Savary Island and the main mode of transportation is biking or walking. This means that the main way to get to Savary is to take a small water taxi from Lund which only carries people and bicycles.
If you're in Powell River for 4 or more days you can go to Lund, have a snack at Nancy's bakery or if you're really hungry and you like sea- food, stop for lunch at The Boardwalk Restaurant. The island has no power and no public campsites or washrooms, so pack all you need (and also bring it back)

Want to experience a Hawaii quality beach? Lucky for you Savary Island has a beautiful white sand beach to relax at for the day. Savary is also a great place to take your bike and explore! (you can also rent a bike once over there). It's a bit of an adventure to get to Savary, but well worth it once you are there. It requires a 35 min drive to Lund, BC and an additional 15 min water taxi.
