You can combine walks and sightseeing with ease. Compass Point on the headland overlooking Summerleaze Beach is a great place to start. The Storm Tower (or The Pepper Pot), was used as a refuge by coastguards in the mid 19th century. The octagonal tower, with the points of the compass carved as a frieze, was moved further inland in around 1900 due to cliff erosion, but unfortunately seven degrees out of alignment!
