North Coast Wine Company proudly stocks over 600 different wines and spirits, and a plethora of ales and ciders from Cornish producers – all of which are available to buy and take home, or drink on the premises. They also serve a nice, locally ground coffee. Their product range is constantly expanding so there is something for everyone! Knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to assist you with your purchase, be it a gift, or simply a treat for yourself.

The Barge, which is moored on the Canal in Bude is a great destination for your return leg from a coastal walk or a more relaxing breakfast on Sunday morning.

Situated right on the wharf, the Olive Tree offers a selection of mouth-watering burgers, salads, pasta and a variety of vegetarian dishes, available until 4pm every day, along with fantastic cakes, coffee and teas, a range of fine wine by the glass, local beers and Cornish gins. You can eat inside or outside where parasols are provided.
In the evening, the restaurant is transformed into a stylish and atmospheric restaurant. We love it!

The centre has a 12-station gym, soft play area and much more. The café located on site will treat you to a wide selection of soft drinks and food once you have finished your workout.

The Castle in Bude positioned overlooking Summerleaze Beach was built in 1830 by Cornwall’s forgotten genius, Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, The Castle is Grade II listed and was a pioneering construction, built on sand using a concrete raft foundation - the very first of its kind. There you can find out all about Bude and the fascinating story of how the town grew up and the canal was developed. An outstanding event in local history is undoubtedly the Battle of Stamford Hill. At The Castle, you can meet the Cornish Giant, Anthony Payne of Stratton – a Royalist hero in the English Civil War!
