Bring a blanket and watch the ships and tug boats float along the Mississippi River or stroll along the adjacent sidewalk. Great place for a crawfish boil or picnic. Keep driving towards the end of the park to bypass the college kids.

A great place to have a picnic or just hang out. Freight ships pass by, and often toot their fog horns at Fly picnic-ers.
