Artificial beach created years ago by a ship which pumped sand from the see to this beach.

Situated on the coast at Kijkduin and known in dutch as 'de zandmotor'. Around 1.5 km of sand was dredged up to form a peninsula that works with nature to reinforce the coastline. The lake in the centre is great for a kitesurfing lesson.

A wonderful peace of Dutch engineering and great place to cycle to. You can rent a bike on the campsite and have a great bike ride along the coastline with this (on)natural wonderland as a reward.

Man made sand installation which creates land by itself, lot's of different birds, great for the dog, easy free parking

Prachtig stukje natuurgebied om langs te fietsen. Soms zie je hier vroeg in de ochtend zeehonden.
