Inside the Taconic Hotel is the Copper Grouse, a great place for specialty cocktails, wines, and beers. A more modern atmosphere is complemented by unique seating areas (some near the bar, high long tables, out on the veranda, or even in front of a large fireplace). Dinner and a Tavern Menu are offered, and each has delicious offerings. A favorite is the Cheddar Ale Soup or dip for homemade pretzel sticks.

The restaurant here is nice but not great.... but the appetizers with a cocktail is spot on!

New popular spot for sitting on veranda and watching the scene. Nice fire pit to drink around. Good food.
