Daniels Park is a lovely area to drive through or park to wander about to take in the beautiful mountain views! If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the resident bison herd. This is the go-to spot in the summer to watch the sunset - get there an hour or so before sunset in order to get a good parking spot and bring a blanket for the evening out.

We often go here to walk around. You can see all the way to Denver on a clear day. Set on a high mesa, this 1,000-acre park has a rustic shelter & views of canyons & roaming bison.

Drive up on Daniels Park Road to see gorgeous views of the Front Range, have a picnic, or see the buffalo herd that resides up there. We spied a bald eagle sitting in a tree up there once.
