40 mins (40kms) from Birchs Bay. Just on the edge of the Huon River on your way in to Huonville..The esplanade here is beautiful for a stretch of the legs..grab something to eat or drink here or enjoy your picnic.....and book a jet boat ride to enjoy the river from a different perspective. A kayak might be more your style to explore the upper reaches?
