Na'alapa stables have two locations for rides, one ride is down the Waipio Valley but they have strict weight restriction of 200 pounds. Otherwise you can ride on their stunning ranch in Kohala. A neat way to see some wild Hawaiian nature.

Want to ride on a horse back to a remote waterfall ? Well they do this here! :-) On the way you will ride through streams, and the iconic Waipi'o Valley will peacefully present itself to you :-) ... I recommend the morning ride as the temperatures will be more pleasant. It's a fun trip to go down there, as the you will witness the climate change more than once on the way there. On the way back, I recommend to swing in to Waimea for different extraordinary lunch options. Keep in mind that getting there will take you about 2 hours from Kona.
