There are stairs that line the falls to view the almost 90 foot drop from the top, but you will have to make an easy .8 mile hike from Storm King Visitor Center to get there first. There are benches for those who need a breather; has some wheelchair accessibility.

Not-so-local (about 70 miles northwest of the Red Cabin) but worth the drive up towards Port Angeles. Marymere Falls Trail is a 2.1 mile out and back from the historical Lake Crescent Lodge. The trail is for all skill levels (easy), best used from April until October. The drive around Lake Crescent is spectacular, especially on a sunny day!

Approximately 10 miles from the Wapiti Rose this is a good all weather/all ages hike. Can be combined with a great lunch/dinner at the historic Lake Crescent Lodge.

Great little 3 mile loop hike through some old growth woods to an awesome waterfall....
