The Sportsman's is perhaps your higher end type of place but if it's just a drink you're after you can still enjoy a pint in the garden after a two mile walk along the river. The food is reputedly very good.

Just ten minutes drive.A pub with a fantastic restaurant serving seasonal, local, fine food. Book ahead. Reservations essential.

The Sportsmans Arms has a friendly and welcoming bar and restaurant. The restaurant for a more formal meal for special occasions and the bar for the same quality food, but not always having to book in advance.

The Sportman’s Arms is one of our favourite places to eat and allows dogs into the bar area. We always have a fabulous meal and wherever possible they use local produce.
