The Anaga Park is one of the most beautiful places in the island. Named in 2015 as a Biosphere Reserve, Anaga counts with numerous cliffs covered by a green mantle of Laurisilva trees. Perfect for the hiking and nature lovers, Anaga also has a variety of natural beaches.

A stay in Tenerife does not count if you haven't seen Anaga Park. It is a magical place where fairies, gnomes and other wizarding creatures certainly live. If you don't meet them, you have the chance to see Teida and Gran Canaria from a distance, and it's an unforgettable sight. Make sure to stop at Mirador de Jardina, Mirador Cruz del Carmen (take a short walk along the paths of Sendero de los Sentidos), stop at Camino Viejo al Pico del Ingles and Mirador Pico del Ingles.

Anaga Rural Park is a must see, the "laurisilva" forest is beautifully conserved and going for a walk is a great plan for anyone interested in plants and birds. The sound of the wind passing through and the birds live performance will galvanize your senses.

Drive through the northern part of the island and admire a forest that hosts plants from a pre-historical era. Ideally you would end up in San Andrés after your drive to enjoy some snacks before a trip to the beach.

Here you have more like tropical weather. Any hike around here is absolutely worth it. Get immersed in Tenerife's tropical forest and think that you are already on a completely different island!
