Awesome Falls hike nearby! This is overall a pretty easy hike but it's 2 miles to the falls and you'll walk over streams and sometimes through the mud! *Wear shoes, I wore flip flops the first time and that was not so fun ;) *Falls are awesome! You can jump in! *Be observant to the trail, we took a long route once that seemed to take 2x longer *Kid friendly

Short scenic hike to a beautiful waterfall just a few minutes drive from Kailua town and nestled just mauka (mountain side) of the quiet neighborhood of Maunawili. Again your best time to go there is when the weather is nice (so you don't damage the trails when they are muddy) and during the weekdays. Make sure to take any valuables with you on the trail and not leave them in your car. There has been problems in the past with break-ins though the neighborhood usually looks after its guests.
