It is a fair representation of what a fishermen village used to look like in Menorca. A nice place to spend the afternoon and have dinner in some of the restaurants available.

Built between the late 60s and early 70s to recreate a traditional Menorcan fishing harbour, this town has become one of the ‘musts’ if you drop by this Balearic island. Completely restored and taken care of to the smallest detail, it is barely made up of 165 houses that faithfully represent the essence of a typical Mediterranean coastal village, sharing many similarities with the beautiful references typical of the Greek Islands.

Binibeca is a very nice fishing village located south of Mahon, its white houses and narrow streets will love you. . It is one of the busiest places on the island of Menorca, due to its white and whitewashed houses, and its narrow streets forming a labyrinth. In its 3 km of Mediterranean coast you can find, from west to east: Binibeca Vell, a fishing village around a small cove, created as a tourist center in the 60's. In Catalan, vell means old. Binibeca beach, about 200 m long, white sand and surrounded by a pine forest. There is a picnic area and a beach bar.
