A fine building that houses the local government offices. There is also a fabulous old-time museum located here. It is full of local cowboy culture.

From the Historic Site, you can follow the trails all through the ravine north. Nice trails that are fairly easy, some harder routes. Follows the creek that runs through the ravine. Lots of wildlife that you may be lucky enough to glimpse including several herds of deer, foxes, coyotes, and numerous birds of all types. In the summer, the Cochrane Farmers' Market sets up in the park offering vendors with all sorts of goods including numerous local food producers and craftspeople.
