Whether you like or dont like walks - this is a must do. This forrest is incredible, and beautiful and.... weird. Great for spending a couple of hours getting some fresh air, of if you want to go for a run. Rumour has it, that there are Trolls that live there - hence the name.

Magic part of the forest

This charming troll forest, part of a Nature protected region, contains stunted and twisted trees which will take you into a fairy tale universe. The forest is caused by adverse living conditions such as the strong windswept, nutrient poor sites, possibly in combination with recurring insect attack. Many of the trees are 100-200 year old pine trees.

The troll forest is a large forest with areas with 'scary' crippled old oaks. Beautiful beaches all along the forest. Go just a mile away from Tisvildeleje and you may have the beach all to yourself.
