If you want to experience the downtown scene, this is a great place to do it. The Gallivan Center is a large grassy area right downtown. In the summer months, grab an ice cream cone from the nearby Monkeywrench and sprawl out with a blanket in the grass. In the winter, enjoy ice skating around the rink.
