Beautiful historic city with so much to see. You won't cover it all in one day. The finest dining options we have ever seen in our travels! We are not posting any restaurants in Portsmouth as there are too many great ones available! Shopping galore. One of our favorite places is Pickwicks Mercantile , adjacent to the historic Strawberry Bank. Prescott park is right downtown and sponsors summer play events surrounded by beautiful gardens. Check out the events at Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club , the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, or The Music Hall for an evening of entertainment.

Quintessential New England port town, a true gem to visit! So much to do and see here. Museums, local breweries and places to eat, and of course the shops downtown are not to be missed. A great location to add to a nice day trip along the seacoast.
