This is my go-to breakfast joint. It's a great place for an omelette--the Denver is my favorite. It may be named Michael's but this place belongs to Marilyn. You'll be astounded by the amount of Marilyn Monroe photos and memorabilia that cover every imaginable surface. Want to burn off the hollandaise sauce from your eggs benedict or that biscuit or two? Take the Michael's challenge--the 3 mile roundtrip trek to and from the restaurant. My pups Blake and Jasper love taking it as they're treated like stars whenever they show up free dog treats and bowls of water. One important tip: don't go in the middle of the day in the middle of summer without a gallon of water and sunscreen.

Very close to the Casita. Great neighbor cafe for breakfast and lunch. Call ahead, they close during part of summer.
