World famous four day Okoberfest celebration in mid-Sept. each year starting with the spectacular North Side Oktoberfest Parade route very close to the A.C. Carter House. Their are two activity grounds, one is downtown approx. 2 1/2 miles from the A.C. Carter House, the north side Copeland Park Okoberfest grounds are walking distance from the A.C. Carter house.
