Westgate Towers Museum & Viewpoint is housed in the country's largest surviving medieval gatehouse. Built in 1380 over the old London road, the Westgate was one of seven such structures constructed to defend the key access points into the city.
Gateway to the walls. Also museum ,etc. Westgate gardens across the road, beautiful walk (or cycle) along the river, passes a great children's playground.
