This is about an hour drive north of Page, but a great alternative to Antelope Canyon. You MUST have a side by side or Jeep to reach this canyon.

Short and sweet hike! Absolutely beautiful red rock slot canyon. You can also explore this canyon with a company if you prefer a more guided experience.

I would recommend getyourguide.com for an adventure. They are inexpensive and start from Orderville, UT which is close to the canyon.

Located just north outside of Kanab, Utah, this destination reminds me a lot of Antelope Canyon. Because the Antelope slot canyons are currently closed, should you not want to miss out on a slot canyon, this one might possibly be worth the trip. Please note that you need an atv, sand buggy, or high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle with good traction tires to make it to this destination because of road conditions (very soft sand).
