Nice little quarry with a small adventure for you and your children perhaps. A short walk downhill takes you to a set of steep stairs and then a 150m long and dark tunnel (flashlight recommended) before you enter the quarry dreamland. Nice excursion of a couple of hours!

Hörnebo slate is mentioned as one of Sweden's most beautiful open pit. Here, roof slate was broken and the mining was as intense in the latter half of the 19th century. To the bottom of the two shafts is a tunnel embedded in the rock. In the mine, every summer musical performance and illuminated mine are arranged. Local artists are mixed with experienced musicians.

Gammel skifferbrud, hvor man kan gå i en lang kølig tunnel under jorden selv på varme sommerdage. Old slate quarry. A long tunnel in the rock brings you to the middle of the quarry. Chill even on hot summer days.
