A Beautiful 15th century pub, good food & gardens. Children & Dogs Welcome - The Perfect place to stop on coastal walks. Or a quick easier walk following the river down to the coastal pebbly beach of Heddons Mouth. Or for the more adventurous, along hardy walk along the Exmoor Coastline to Woody Bay; Spectacular Views - all wonderful! - or maybe just the pub for a few local beers & some cider in beautiful surroundings, you might even get to see the Peacocks?

Lovely place to stop for lunch or a drink, after walking down to Heddons Mouth. National Trust owned and with their shop also close by.

Might as well stop for a coffee or a burger on your way down to Heddon’s Mouth

We absolutely love this pub and the magical drive to it from Chapel Cleeve. Once you're there, take the dramatic walk to the seafront before a delicious dinner.
