Eastern Market is just one of the most magical places in the world. It’s the biggest open-air market in all of North America, and it just bustles with this incredible energy. People of all backgrounds and all ages are there. Many Detroit farmers and food producers sell there each week. It’s an incredible way to spend a Saturday. Grown in Detroit and Brother Nature Produce are two of the great farm vendors that sell here. Grown in Detroit is the food cooperative of Keep Growing Detroit where a lot of small growers, like home gardeners throughout the city, sell their food.

Saturday markets for fresh fruits and veggies. See local vendors as well. There is really something for everyone..
The Eastern Market area is named for the 19th-century market operating here, with vendors selling everything from tacos to colorful produce every Saturday. Sundays see the space packed with local jewelers and artists.
