South beach at Lowestoft is one of the finest on the Suffolk coastline and about two minutes walk from home. There's plenty of room for families to enjoy the golden sands and life guards are present daily throughout the summer months. Head a little further south (just past the new beach huts - you can't miss them!) and you can then also walk your furry friend too.

Lowestoft South Beach is a large stunning beach! Plenty of space and plenty to do.

some of the best sandy beaches in Suffolk are to be found here - a great area for paddling and swimming with lifeguards during busy holiday times watching over swimmers, a great cafe, fish and chip shop, arcade games, a bar, a lovely promenade for cycling or walking.
