Cute boutique shopping, craft fairs, a wide array of dining and a smaller night life scene. The town offers small guided tours, including a ghost tour, to learn more about how the California gold rush shaped the town we see today.

Darling historic gold mining town. Stroll the streets with eclectic shops, eateries, and bars. Summer- There's a farmers market on Saturday from 8-noon. There's often something going on downtown. Winter- Don't miss Victorian Christmas- the whole town is decked out and it's the perfect place to celebrate the holidays.
