Everyone knows that tea goes wonderfully well with a Chinese meal, but what would you say if we offered you a choice of 38 different varieties, including seven different flavors of iced tea? More complicated than a wine list, the tea menu is divided into eight categories — white, green, black, oolong, herbal, fruit, signature and iced — with tasting notes for each variety so you can try something new, and perhaps learn a few things about tea. When it comes to the food, you can't wrong. And to finish the night? Head upstairs to the Zhou Zhou Bar, a 1930’s Shanghai throwback with a cheeky 3am liquor license and an epic whisky collection. Here’s how to do it: kick back under the neon signage and sip on hard-to-find Asian beers like Hitchino Nest and Coedo, then order up a double serve of ginger prawn dumplings from downstairs. Happy days.
