This beautiful island park is 10 minutes down a lovely back road and you take a little pontoon boat ride (donation based) to get there. You can hike, rent kayaks, rent a bike, picnic, go fishing, or just bring a book and relax. You might see manatees, alligators, and much more wildlife.

Take the Ferry across the St. John's and explore Hontoon Island State Park. Several trails, bike rental, playground and Florida wildlife make the island fun and peaceful at the same time.
