Minehead has a sandy beach which the kids will enjoy building castles on. Otherwise, you can enjoy a walk to the harbour to enjoy a pint, visit the RNLI station or just enjoy a stroll by the sea.

A seaside town with a sandy beach, harbour, refreshments and arcades. Blenheim gardens is a lovely little park to spend time in as well. Toucan Café on the high street is great. The South West Coast path starts in Minehead. It goes over North Hill, which has stunning views, before heading down to Bossington and then along to Porlock Weir and beyond. You can walk a section of it and then catch the open top bus back. Channel Adventures (SUPs, kayaking etc) is based on the Seafront in Minehead.
