Architecture buffs should stop by the Stadsbiblioteket library, designed by Gunnar Asplund. Only approx 5-7 minutes walk away.
Stunning library designed by Gunnar Asplund. Wonderful to hang out in the large circular main room on a rainy day.
I go there for the books; you'll probably go there for the famous architecture. Walk east on Odengatan or take the metro two stops to Rådmansgatan.

“There are definitely places that serve better coffee, danish and food, but Ritorno’s original interior from the 40s and 50s creates a unique atmosphere that contrasts to the busy city life outside.”

“The altar piece is impressive. Free organ recitals Thursdays at noon. Walk east on Odengatan or take the metro one stop to Odenplan.”

“Low-End. Hidden gem on top of the "mountain", right next to the Stockholm Observatory who has the record for oldest continuous temperaturemeasurement in the world. Maybe not that facinating, but the waffles at this place are nice! ”

“If you want to buy liqour in Sweden it's necessary to go to Systembolaget. This would be the one best located on our way home, but are located all around town. Do note that they wont be open after 18:00 (6 pm) weekdays or after 15:00 (3 pm) on Saturdays. Sundays they are closed. Also: you have to be 20 to shop there. If you are younger: don't even go in because then they will deny your friends to buy as well.”
