A beautiful park within walking distance from our Airbnb. A large parking lot is also available, parking is free. Trails along the waterfront, numerous picnic areas, park, splash pad, swim areas, bike and walking paths, boat launch

"Lake Ontario Park is the Kingston’s largest urban waterfront park. Recently revitalized, it provides a glorious natural landscape drawing both visitors and residents for picnicking and scenic walks along the waterfront. The park is the preferred place for evening walkers and joggers, family get together, sports activities etc. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the surrounding greenery is refreshing. There are parking lots available at the entrance and a playground nearby for children as well. Lake Ontario Park is a wonderful place to enjoy a good walk on the walking, running, bike trails which lead to Portsmouth Harbour boat docks and behind the historic Kingston Penitentiary. Enjoy watching the sailboats, feeding the ducks and serenity along the waters edge!

Lake Ontario Park is a perfect place to go for a walk or bike ride, read a book, or have a picnic with the family, they have a splash pad and a gorgeous waterfront trail that showcases Kingston's beauty. You can also catch fireworks there on Victoria Day or Canada Day.
