Lovely little town, here you’ll find supermarkets, banks, cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Post office and chemists too. There is also a cinema here

Wadebridge is our closest town (4 miles / 10 minutes away) and we love it because it is full of independent shops and cafés. You can get anything you need here, from great coffee and fresh fish, to antiques and ironmongery. It's located halfway between Bodmin and Padstow on the Camel Trail, and has several bike hire shops so you can explore the area with ease. Wadebridge is the best place to stock up on food and drink for your stay. Try The Vine for fruit and veg, Williams or Duttons butchers (both on Molesworth Street), Off The Hook fishmonger, Relish Food & Drink deli, and Barnecutts bakeries. SaltBox (near Lidl) is a "pile" of containers, housing some great little businesses, including a wine bar, coffee shop, pizza, curry, tapas and street food stalls. There are plenty of pay & display car parks in the town.

Wadebridge is a nice town with all the amenities you would expect, but it has some nice small boutique shops for craft, fashion and home wares. I always pick up something nice here, especially along Molesworth Street and the back streets. There are a number of nice eating places for both lunch and dinner. You can walk one way to the river and along the river edge even going as far as Slaughterbridge which has a Trelwaney garden centre, or you can venture the other side of the town to the river which has the entrance to Camel Trail to Padstow. You can walk this, but its a fair 5 mile walk, much better on bikes! There are a number of places to hire them in town. There are a number of parks in Wadebridge and if you fancy a wonderful view, it is worth going to Coronation Park, which is a bit of a hilly walk but great for pictures and you can walk down through a wooded area back into town.
