This is the place where the locals eat. Located in the center of Stonington village, it's bright and sunny in the morning, and you can get a good breakfast start to the day here, along with lunch and dinner. The food isn't fancy, but its good and hearty and the conversations are fun to listen to.

Max, the new owner of the cafe / diner has done an impeccable job of updating a local favorite that still keeps the locals (and visitors) coming back again & again. Breakfast & lunch service only as of May 1, 2022

Deer Isle: (new name is Cry Babies) This eatery is sure to please everyone as it has 100 different items on its menu! Located in the picturesque village of "downtown" Stonington. Check it out! You won't be disappointed and you won't leave hungry as the portions are huge!

Authentic local fare, but freshened up with a great menu from New York chef with longtime connections to Stonington. Delicious breakfasts with the local lobsterers and dinner after your day out and about.
