This 2,000 plus acre reservoir offers plenty of healthy activities like swimming, scuba and skin diving, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, picnic area, playground, foods and much more. It is one of the deepest lakes in the New Jersey area where around 19 species of fish exist. The area is open in summer from April 1 to 31 October. It is a great place if you want to enjoy nature and the wilderness. There is an area allocated for family campsites and tents with fire rings, drinking water, and pit toilets that are within walking distance. You can access to the campsites by boat, canoe or backpacking including 3 to 6 miles hike from the parking area.
