Rao's An iconic Italian restaurant since 1896. I've stalked Rao's for so long that I didn't know what to expect when finally pulling up. The food: everything we had was absolutely incredible. the seafood salad in particular was spectacular, the baked clams, mussels, pasta wit meat sauce, oil+brocc rabe.... I'm literally salivating as I write this. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong. The service: second to none. I didn't even know my drink was ever low because it was so constantly refilled (water + my martinis lol thanks for the best hangover ever) Everyone was so friendly and accommodating I felt like I could've asked for anything and they would find a way to make it happen.

This is always filled with famous people . You probably won't be able to get a dinner reservation here, but it is a historical gem of New York where you will be gladly welcomed for a drink

It's nearly impossible to get a seat, but just walking by and seeing who did get a table is an experience, reminding you of when the neighborhood was run by the Italians.
