A beautiful garden and nature preserve just outside of San Miguel. Check out their website and book tickets.$50 pesos general admission and $30 pesos for teacher and students. There are also tours available. There is a cafeteria that serves tacos, burgers, and fruit smoothies.

Full of different types of cactus and nopales, there is also a lake and a very small waterfall.

We take our dog to the property behind the Charco Del Ingenio (Botanical Garden, which is a great spot to check out) for hours-long walks. You may come across a herd of goats or sheep or cattle, along with horses randomly grazing in the fields. There is a beautiful reservoir full of birds and other wildlife

This is a beautiful botanic garden and protected nature area. Great for a hike around the canyon and amazing cactus collection. Truly part of the heart and soul of San Miguel.
