It has earned the nickname 'the trembling lady', because, well, it's a bit shakey. I walk or cycle across this bridge almost every day and I can confirm that fact. Measures have been put in place to restrict the size and number of vehicles that can cross it, you know, so it doesn't collapse.

At night or sundown, turn right out of the flat, right again then cross over to the opposite side and left at Oakley Street which is the first street, then walk down to the bridge and marvel at its beauty when lit up. Cross the bridge and either turn left into the magical Battersea Park or have a well earned glass of something a the Prince Albert Bridge pub, a wonderful and spacious gastropub.

The Albert Bridge is a road bridge over the River Thames in West London, connecting Chelsea on the north bank to Battersea on the south bank. Designed and built by Rowland Mason Ordish in 1873 as an Ordish–Lefeuvre system modified cable-stayed bridge, it proved to be structurally unsound, so between 1884 and 1887 Sir Joseph Bazalgette incorporated some of the design elements of a suspension bridge. In 1973 the Greater London Council added two concrete piers, which transformed the central span into a simple beam bridge. As a result, today the bridge is an unusual hybrid of three different design styles. It is an English Heritage Grade II* listed building.

Iconic local bridge, a five minute walk away. Feature in many films, tv shows and adverts. it's a cantilever suspension bridge, built on the same model as Tower Bridge - but they changed it during construction to reduce the size and not allow it to open. Along with Tower Bridge; it's one of only two cantilever suspension bridge. You can think of it as the little sister to Tower Bridge.
