An island super nice for taking a stroll, also with a few museums and cafes like rosensals trädgårdar, Nordic museum, the vasa museum and prins Eugen Valdemars udde.

Djurgården stems from the game park of King John III, Djurgården is home to historical buildings and monuments, museums, galleries, the amusement park Gröna Lund, the open-air museum Skansen, the small residential area Djurgårdsstaden, yacht harbors, and extensive stretches of forest and meadows.

Don't miss this wonderful place in Stockholm. The island is full of things to do and see. From ABBA museum to culture, arts, tivoli by the sea and food. Great place for adults and kids. On this island you will find the famous Wasa Ship, a brag build that went wrong. Huge wood ship that only sailed…

“( 20 minutes with the greenline) This is a must visit if you're visiting Stockholm, All of Gamla Stan and the adjacent island of Riddarholmen are like a living pedestrian-friendly museum full of sights, attractions, restaurants, cafés, bars, and places to shop. Gamla Stan is also popular with aficionados of handicrafts, curious, and souvenirs. The narrow winding cobblestone streets, with their buildings in so many different shades of gold, give Gamla Stan its unique character. Even now cellar vaults and frescoes from the Middle Ages can be found behind the visible facades, and on snowy winter days, the district feels like something from a storybook.”

“( Around 30 minutes ) A historic masterpiece it is easily the one of the most interesting things in Stockholm for sightseeing. The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. Today Vasa is the world's best preserved 17th century ship and the most visited museum in Scandinavia.”
