Great place for sandwiches and other light fare. Also offering to-go meals you can pop in the microwave. Food from this little gem is above average, and the staff is super friendly. Outside picnic tables by the river. Approximately 8 miles from your suite -- not far from the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Pick up some snacks or a picnic lunch before you hike!

Like the name says - all solar powered. At the end of the village of Sperryville right on US 211, it's pretty much the last thing before going up the mountain to the park. Pretty riverside tables and creative food choices. I loved the Banh Mi and cold ramen salad. All local ingredients, only open for breakfast and lunch. Electric vehicle charging is available.

In Sperryville (on the way to the park), this casual eatery offers breakfast and lunch goods all day long (closes around 5pm most of the year) with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. They have some eclectic eats and also serve coffee, tea, wine, and some fun mocktails as well. You can enjoy the view of the Thornton River if you sit outside at their picnic tables!
