The park occupies marshland reclaimed from the Thames and land formerly used for market gardens.
Battersea park is my favourite local park. It’s got a zoo, playground, Go ape adventure climbing, cafe, and a lake with row boats. It’s next to the Thames and opposite the Chelsea bridge. You can get the 44 bus outside the flat to the park.
Beautiful park which is a 30 minute walk away or you can get the Santander bikes and cycle along the river to get to it
One of south Londons finest parks, with 200 acres of lush landscaping and trees that date back to victorian times. Built between 1854 and 1870. It has a riverside promenade, a large lake, many notable trees and ecological areas, children's play areas, a children's zoo, the Pump House gallery, ceremony venue and sports facilities. Great for walks where Justin takes time away from work.
