Run. Hike. MTB Raccoon is a beautiful spot to explore. The drive around the top of the reservoir is especially cool and recommended. These are arguably the best MTB trails nearby Chattanooga, as well as some of the best and most hiker friendly trails in the area. The museum also has some really interesting facts about the facility and boasts some incredible views of the Tennessee River.
