Once David Chang's right hand, Peter Serpico came to Philly to open up shop on South Street. His eponymous restaurant has since proven to be one of the most innovative and beautiful spots around. Serpico displays a deft touch with unusual vegetable dishes like a mushroom tartare with fingerling potato chips and turns lasagna on its head with chicken, snails, and hazelnut pesto.
