If you want to eat French without an excessive bill, Gladines is the place. Young ambiance, excellent dishes from the southwest, do try the duck.

One of the best local food restaurants I have tried. Excellent quality of food, portions and service and doesn't require prior reservation. There are different branches all over Paris but I prefer this one as it is in the center, and you can take a nice walk after eating to the Louvre which is so close by.

A French restaurant with lots of charm and a very good value for money in the heart of Paris. Please try the "salade des 5 diamants" or the "veau montagnard"

One of my favorite restaurant in Paris. It's food from the South West of France and they cook very good salades.
